A little bit about me…  http://re.vu/teacher

Much of my early adult life was spent working in an office and then I took time out to raise my family. It was at this point that I made the decision to train as a teacher. My enthusiasm for technology has always been part of my lifestyle as well as my work life. Having spent many years helping in schools, both as a parent, and then prior to teaching, as a playgroup leader and TA, my involvement in primary schools has been a long and enjoyable one.

Having now spent 12 years in the classroom my enthusiasm has not diminished and it is always nice to face new challenges, particularly as the world of technology progresses.

In my current position I have happily taken on the role of Student Council leader together with a colleague. It is so important to ensure the pupil voice is heard and as such we try to think of a new project each year.

The role of maths coordinator has been a new one for me since being at SFBS. I am in the process of implementing a drive to look at the maths environment in classrooms. This, along with some other focused ideas for raising the profile of maths will be implemented during this school year.

Please take your time to look at my website. It shows a clear picture of what motivates and excites me as an educator and where I see the future of education to be going.
